a solution to lifetime assessment of large generators

GAP2 (includes GAP1) is performed with the generator standstill and in assembled condition with terminals disconnected and during a 2 – 3 days minor turbine outage. The work performed is cold walkdown survey and electrical tests on stator, rotor, exciter and accessories.

The benefit you get

  • Benefits of GAP1
  • Perform diagnostic tests on stator windings
  • Perform tests on stator, rotor, exciter and accessories as accessible
